so now the question is when will Verizon get a 6225 with BREW and offer it? 1, 2 months? What do you guys think?

Too much money IMO. Jeez, CDMA is gettting too overpriced. I can get some kickbutt phones on Cingular for under 100$ with a 1yr contract, and yeah Cingular GSM is pretty good. I can't ever see me with Sprint....

No costco's in DE that I know of. Well I figured there'd be the standard 150/100 rebate on it, which makes the phone decently priced. But, considering I'd be spending an extra like 15-20$ a month on SPrint over Verizon or Cingular...it just makes them too much. Yes, Verizon is out of range for me too it seems. Cingular dealers sell phones *much* cheaper than online, even the corporate store sells almost all of their phones for under 150 on a 1yr. and are semi-flexible in the prices.

Sprint and nokia are heading in the right direction. This is a big deal for sprint carry a small mid level nokia with vision enabled. This will be the first since the 6585 to have a web browser. There are many sprint customers who have been waiting for a small nokia phone for a long time. If this phone does well we will see more nokia cdma phone with better screens in the future. I am happy sprint is taking another chance on nokia. There is a demand out there sprint nokias? I am anxious to see how the reception is on the phone, I hope it as good as the 3588i! This will also be sprint second internal antenna phone next to the sony e t608 |

I didn't think the 6585 was even out yet. The 6585 and 6225 got FCC approval within a week i think. On phonescoop, the 6585 says that only USCC is going to carry it and that is tennative. The 6585 has USCC and sprint listed, again, both as tennative. Which pone were you referring to that the 6225 is the first since with a web browser?

I would rather have the 6585 over the 6225. Disappointing.

I agree, I would have perferred the 6585, but I am happy sprint is finally carry a nokia phone with vision. If the 6225 does well we will see more phones. By the way the phone is on back order until next week.

I thought US Cellular's easyedge was BREW and not JAVA like Sprint PCS Vision? If this is true why would US Cellular put out phones that are not easyedge compatible now??

Why is it that Sprint gets releases all the cool CDMA phones and Verizon releases nothing..... (I do not consider the LG4500 & A610 on par with the latest phones, there not bad phones just lacking in features) |
