verizon tri mode best digital reception westchester ny

i just replaced my 3 or 4 year old startac with a Audiovox CDM8600, , i was hoping for better reception in my apartment ,
any other tri mode that are known for good reception, i can barely , if ever make a call from home,
my 15 days is expiring soon

Nokia 3589i, hands down. Best tri-mode phone in my opinion. It even has a better RF than my VX 6000... give the 3589i a try

they are sending me a motorlola 710 something ? i think , i needed to make a quick decision since my 15 days was expiring, i really need a flip phone, i heard about the good digital recepton of the nokia,
but i would like a smaller phone, well maybe? if worse comes to worse i will try the bigger phone..

yes that it, i figger try it for 15 days and strt process again, my startac was lousef in my appartment, but i am hoping a newer pnone will have a bteer reception, i may go the Nextel as recommend last if the others all fail..i really dont use my phone to much, but to carry i need to have on my belt,,
if a camera phone had good reception i might try one of those, sometimes a picture can come in handy, especailly when fighting parking tickets.

Did your startac work in your apartment with Verizon? If so you need a phone that can match that in reception right?

Try a Nokia 3589i, an Audiovox 8900, and a Motorola t730. Thos are the Tri-mode phones that perform the best on Verizon. Oh..If you can get your hands on a v60c/i on ebay those wrok insanely well as well.

thanks the motorola t730, the reception in my apartment seeems to be much better than the audiovox, and better than my original startac,
at least it seems to always ring whe i get a incoming call,
but i did notice today i took it out on a fresh charge , forgot ileft it in my car, went down to get it and it was totally dead,
i didnt use it to make any phone calls, in my car in the garage it maight have gone to no service , or analog possibly , but still strange that a brand new phone freshly charged would be dead in under 6 hours? hae to keep a eye on it , for the 15 day thing...
