I have been useing Sprint for a couple of years and thier coverage seems pretty good... but when my phone died for the 3rd time (all differnt issues) and Sprint was going to charge me full price I said FINE! and switched (ported) over to AT&T wireless GSM last week and well the phone is nice but most people can't hear me well while moving and it drops calls a lot :-( I was thinking of porting back to Sprint - but don't really want to. How is Nextel (I asked in in a differnt post and was given some good info) but on the Torrington area does it drop many calls and what is the typical voice quility? I assume Cingular and T-Mobile is the same as AT&T (same network - no?) Thanks John |

You have your Pride. Once you left there's no coming back. T-Mobile, Cingular only share in NY Metro; so They and ATTWS don't share in CT.

Jones, I noticed that my GSM phone all of a sudden started saying Cingular Extend in the Litchfield area, was concerned about roaming fees, and spoke with a Cingular employee that worked at the company owned store inside the Torrington CT Wal-Mart and he told me that they received an e-mail from coprorate telling about an agreement that went through that allows Cingular to utilize ATT towers in Litchfield county without any roaming fees. |
