I just got a second line added to my account and i want to swap the new phone (vx4500) with my # that is on my 4400. Being that these phones are activated and coded with the phone #'s, can i use the Verizon site to swap them? Or will i have to call CS for this? Thanks in advance.

Just call 800-922-0204 from a landline and explain to them what you want to do. There is no charge, and the changes should be immediate. You will have to run *228, option 1 after they do the ESN swap.

When switching 2 phones it is better to call from a land line and get it done. It will just work out MUCH better. They are less likely to mess it up if you call from a landline as upposed to doing it online. | |

I have never had a problem doing it online, so I would say its much easier to do it that way.
