Default Peak or Off-Peak minutes for Turkey Day?

Does anyone know which (if any) carriers consider Thanksgiving as off-peak minutes? If anyone has a list of all holidays, that would be great!

Default Peak or Off-Peak minutes for Turkey Day?

Hi:

Thanksgiving is off-peak or free calling for Verizon (if you have a plan or service which bills different rates for off peak or has a promotion, of course.) I have no knowledge of the other companies.

I know Verizon and Sprint PCS have Thanksgiving as off peak minutes. I'm also pretty sure most carriers consider it off peak (except for these new plans where nights start at 7 but i dunno).

Default Peak or Off-Peak minutes for Turkey Day?

Don't count on it on AT&T, Cingular or T-Mobile. They count as regular days.

All day Saturday & Sunday New Year's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day

Sprint does not include Holidays as off peak minutes. They never have. This question comes up every time there's a major Holiday.

For ATT Wireless, Thanksgiving is one of 5 holidays for people on plans that include PROMOTIONAL N/W minutes. This does not include plans where N/W are a basic part of the plan. If you extended your contract for N/W, you would get Thanksgiving free on AWS.

That is not true. While I don't know about Cingular, AT&T conciders these holidays as OFF PEAK: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. T-Mobile however DOES NOT have any.

My bad...I must have misread their fine print. However, I know that Cingular and Sprint don't count holidays as off-peak days.

Default Peak or Off-Peak minutes for Turkey Day?

Directly from an a-mail response from sprint counstomer service:

"This is in response to your inquiry regarding the minutes usage on a
national holiday.

The Night & Weekend Minutes are applicable in the same manner as any
other business day throughout the year, irrespective of holidays.
Therefore, if a holiday falls on a weekend, the minutes will be pulled
from the Night & Weekend Minutes, and if it falls on a weekday, the
minutes will be pulled from the Anytime or Night & Weekend Minutes,
depending upon the time you make or receive calls."
