Default Security Deposit Loss?

I am under contract with Verizon. When i signed the contract i had to leave a $125 deposit. If i was to cancel my service and pay the cancelation fee, would i lose my deposit?

As long as your billing is current and any early termination fee (if applicable) has been paid, you should get it back.

I would see if there is someone who would take over your contract.

BTW why do you want to leave verizon?

Yup... the $125 would be applied to the account to cover some of the ETF.
