Hi, I saw that Virgin Mobile came out with a new, and very sleek new phone.

I live in NYC, and want to buy the Kyocera slider, I am currently with Verizon, and since the phone is cdma 800/1900 I wanted to know if its possible to use a virgin mobile phone with verizon wireless.

I hope someone can help, or have any info. Also would verizon do the programming in the store?

ANy verizon rep can answer this one?

looks like the phone is 800mhz cdma capable, howeve rits for virgin mobile and most likely locked to their network. I believe the phone wouldhave to be unlocked, then you would have to know someone in verizon to get them to try it on the network and set it up cause i doubt your average verizon rep would do that. http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?id=322
