Default Verizon PDA Phone Advice Needed

I'm locked into a contract with Verizon for the forseeable future and find that while I like my LG VX6000 a lot, I'd probably be much better off with a PDA phone compatible with both MS Outlook on the PC side of the street and Apple's iSync for Macs. What woould be my best option? Does the Kyocera 7135 play nicely with both platforms? Or is there anything else on the horizon that would do the job better at this time? Any advice/recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

i'm not sure how well the kyocera7135 will work with mac but i can offer you some advice...

stay away from that thing... every single customer of mine at this point, who has a k7135, is having constant problems with it... freezing up, sluggish dialing, bad audio quality, horrible battery life... i used one myself for a month and never had an issue but it seems that the issues start after using it for a while.

i would wait till 2004 when some new smartphones are released.

the 7135 has one of the biggest things going for it....
its trimode, probably will be the only pda phone that will be trimode, i have alot of ppl that i have sold the 7135 to and have been very happy with it.
there is a new software update for it (takes about 40 mins) that is supposed to fix alot of the freezing issues.

guess it just depends on where you plan on traveling with the phone to see if you need trimode or not, samsung will be releasing the 600 very soon but i believe it is windows based.

I JUST got the I700 on Saturday. I've been in a similar dilemma. The I700 is farkin sweet. The only problem *I* have is carrying it. I don't have a case or screen protectors yet.

Anyhoo, I don't know if you are paying full retail, but there is only a $100 difference between the I700 and I600. They both run the same software....but the I600 has less memory, a smaller non-touch screen, and a slower processor.

Of course, the I600 fits in your pocket with no problems.. This is why I've been going crazy. Otherwise, they're both pretty kewl ----this is coming from someone who HATES Samsung.

BTW The phone works great, no problems yet. THen again, I have nothing loaded onto it because I can't get sync to work with USB.

Good luck! Remember...we get 15 days to wipe out butts with it and then return it if it doesn't wash off well.
