Default need some advice w/ verizon plan

Currently I have 3 phones on a 2-year contract with verizon using the family share plan.

My wife handled the deal with verizon, and opted for the shared 500 minutes plan which is apparently not enough for 3 phones (after a $550 bill last month!). We've had the plan for about 8 months now

I'm looking to upgrade my plan to the family share 2200 minute plan (as i cant cancel the goddamn thing) and also add another phone.

Right now both I and my wife have motorolla t720's which, apparently, are awful. We have both experienced the poor battery power and the long wait time for missed calls and messages. Is there any easy way to go about getting these 2 phones replaced? Any recommendations as to what to switch to?

As far as adding a 4th additional phone, I think we're going to go for the LG vx6000. However, I read somewhere that I can't add this phone to my plan due to it being all digital... is this true?

Any answers to questions or further advice is welcome. Thanks!

After signing a 2 year contract, you have to wait until 22 months for a promotionally priced phone.
Retail can be very expensive. One option may be ebay.

Adding the VX6000 isn't a problem. It only means the person with that phone can't use analog.

Hope that helps!

How about with the t720 trade in or replacement? Who would you suggest I call to attempt to get them replaced for free? I've read a couple threads on here about people getting that done. Thanks!

here is what i have all my family share customers do when they start getting bills like that......

split into two family plans and keep the two highest peak min users as the primary lines so they get the 1000 mtm min.

this way when checking minute usage throughout the month only two people have to worry about shared minutes on a plan rather than four. doing this has never failed me. it works every time. doesnt seem like much but it all has to do with getting the two biggest users off the same share plan.
