Ok don't anyone laugh it's not hard to do being a blonde...LOL...I thought I knew what I wanted....to switch to Verizon and get the LG6000 phone...but now I'm reading that there is a new GSM??? does this mean that this phone won't work with this? When I talked to AT&T they did say to bear with them it would be about another year before things got fixed but I don't want to wait that long. And I don't want to have to go out and replace my new phone with something else in a year.....so you are the experts....steer me in the right direction.....Sami

its gonna take AT&T a bit longer to than a year to get that network anywhere near verizons coverage. If coverage is what you are after then verizons where you want to be. I have the vx6000 now and unless they come out with another killer phone ill never switch.

To answer the question:
Your LG VZN phone will not work with ATT, TDMA or GSM, should you choose to go back, as it is a CDMA phone.
