Hi, everybody. You all rock for answering all these questions. I'm moving to Cambridge, MA, and am debating whether to stay with Verizon, which has been OK for me, or to switch to T-Mobile. I don't need a phone with a lot of gadgets, but I will need to roam in Madison, WI and San Francisco, CA. Seems T-Mobile roaming covers these areas but just barely. I don't know anybody with T-Mobile & don't know how it's working for people. However T-Mobile seems much the better deal, with a free Ericsson T300, Nokia 3390 gold, or Samsung R225m and those 600 anytime minutes for $40... while I'd have to dish out at least $60 to Verizon for a Kyocera KWC2325. Can anybody comment on these plans or phones? I'm torn and would love your feedback. Thanks so much, Karla |

My current Verizon phone is not tri-modal and so can't handle the plans where roaming is included. I really need roaming, so either way I'll have to get a new phone. I just don't know much about T-Mobile. Any thoughts on how they work in New England? Karla |

There is TMo store in Framingham, Ma on Rte 9. They can punch in the areacode in the computer and punch up a very detailed map of where they have coverage. If you get a new VZW phone, of course get the VX4400... |

i agree the vx4400 tri-mode is a nice phone however is it the phone for you ? do you need color and a flip ? the v60 has no color and is just as good.

Tmo has great service in California...so i hear. it also has excellent service in major cities. more specifically for san fran, im not sure.... but i know LA is excellent. madison is considered a big city so i would assume service will be good there....just dont travel outside of madison into the boonies of WI. Verizon has excellent coverage in Mass and in Cambridge, T-Mob. I have heard from friends of mine who work there is so so, weak indoor coverage and a few holes. The LG Vx4400 is an excellent phone and Verizon has better coverage in Wi than T-Mob...
