Hi all,

I want to change my phone and service plan for a long time. But i didn't know what service is best for my area. I live in Mastic, NY (South shore eastern suffolk).

any advice and recommendation is greatly appreciated!!

How about telling us who you are with right now and what you want from a provider? Camera phone? High-speed data? etc, etc.

I have Sprint service with a Samsung 8500 phone.

The sprint service around my area is really bad.

First I would recommend trying a new phone from Sprint. Sanyos have very good RF. The 6400 is $50 until the 10th, and at that price it will not extend your contract. If switching phones dosn't help, every one seems to like Verizon in NYC and surrounding areas.

i agree if sprint is really bad in your area a new phone may not help. Try out verizon as their coverage tends to be alot better in this area.
