I believe I read in another forum that you could change phones online with Verizon Wireless by entering a new ESN. (A) Is this correct? (B) And, if so, where is that done? I can't seem to find it. Thanks! |

You can only done it in some markets. To do this, log into your VZServe account. Under phone options (menus on the left) select activate your phone. (it may be somewhere else on the screen, thats just where it is for me). There are some markets where it is still not allowed online yet, but you can do it in most.

Goodman ... Thanks! I must be in one of those areas (NY-metro) not yet set-up for online changes. When I log-in to my VZServe account, there aren't any menus on the left, and there certainly isn't anything that points to phone options. Thanks for your help! |

When you log in to My Account, it's under quick links, right under the bar graph, "activate phone".

I am in the NJ/NY metro area...thus far no options to activate/change phone online. The only options it allows is to add mobile web, txt messaging package, and enhanced voicemail...

Delaware is not yet updated either. Usually this area is the first to get such upgrades (along with Philly, NYC, etc). Oh well, I will not be ESN switching for a while anyway lol.
