Can you use an alltel phone on verizon without unlocking? This guy is telling me i can use a 5185i on verizon? Anyone know?

Yes you can. I have done the reverse and they work fine. Just make sure that you are not in a old primeco 1900mhz network and you will be fine. If you are just going to buy the phone used then I would look for one that is specifically for verizon that way there is ABSOLUTELY no issues. Jack

| Alltel phones on Verizon network?????? Much of Verizon's ntwk is old Alltel - Should work fine.....mine used to. All CDMA / analog.
