credit ruined

i recently tried to refinance my home and found an account placed in collection from cingular.
i have made dozens of phone calls to both cingular and the collection agency that they sold me to! through frustraistion i paid the debt...later to find out that i was correct in the first place!!! I never owed them any money so they ended up owing me the money !
I have been yelled at !!1 hung up on!!!and called names which included liar, from cingular employees.they either never record notes of the conversations or sign them with fake names.
To this day I have not been able to refinance my home because of cingular wireless and a collection company called cbcs.They have done nothing to help me to correct their error.
I live on cape cod in massachusetts and will be changing service immediatley....does anyone know how t-mobile will work here on cape?[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]
