When looking at the coverage maps on VZW website then have a map for National Enhanced Services. What is enhanced service?

Probably refering to Caller ID, Txt messaging and voicemail alert.

yes thats what they are talking about. caller id, voicemail, ect.....

Are you sure enahnced services don't refer to 1x digital networks?

The only reason I ask is caller ID works in analog areas, but I doubt Verizon would consider that an enhanced area.

true you could be right about that caller id works in those areas so they could be talking about the 1x digital service.

thanks, for the replies. I don't remember seeing the map on the site until the other day. I thought maybe it had to do with PTT...

actually this is what enhanced services include: National Mobile to Mobile, Txt msging, Express Network, Get it now, voice gear and mobile web. I found a brochure here at my work all about it.
