Images: 146 | Sprint wins big court victory in NJ! Sprint has won a court ruling against Franklin Lakes, NJ and will be allowed to build a tower after a judge ruled that the town was "arbitrary, capricious, and unreasonable" when they denied the project. |

I think I remembered this case from about a year ago when it was denied. Go Sprint! in their cause to fight NIMBY's! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Yes, you might remember when I posted the original story of this case when it was denied and Sprint vowed to fight it in court. This is a huge victory for Sprint and for other carriers wishing to expand in that area. It will also force other communities to think twice before denying or face litigation in which they will likely lose. This is nothing new for Sprint. They have been fighting and winning in court for a long time.

The ironic part to a story like this, is that a majority of the people in Franklin Lakes probably complained regularly about not having any coverage in their town!! I was at Sprint for 5 years, prior to commercial launch in New England and we saw this in every town that resisted tower placement.
