Default How most towers look like on Long Island, NY

Well, I finally did it. I went around to all my local towers and took some pics. Out of all the towers, only 2 in my area are an actual tower!

Sorry about the sizing of the pictures.

These are the labels at the base of that large tower. If anyone can look around these verizon guys, can you recognize the labels?

Have you see the latest SPRINT PCS TOWERS?

They're like the Monument Tower in Washington DC.
You will not see The PANELS since they're built inside the Tower.
Obviously you don't have a Picture.
If you happen to be in northern NJ, it is on Route 17 (South Bound Side) in the Town of Ramsey but closer to Ridgewood.
It's the first of its Kind and only SPRINT has them.

Yeah, there are a few of those around here. Some of them are made to look like flagpoles. They are basically like these, right?

Are you talking about the "Blue White" pole in Ridgewood on RT 17 South, near the Shell station, & behind the Old Paramus Church cemetary??
That one is far south of Ramsey, & I always wondered if it was a cell site.....

These new towers with the antennas on the inside look the best. They are MUCH better than having the antennas sticking out every which way.

However, they are much more expensive for carriers to build and this is the reason they build them only as a last resort in NIMBY areas like Ramsey, Ridgewood, Ramapo, Mahwah, etc.

Thats funny, because the ONLY places ive ever seen these poles are almost on top of more antennas. Both are located next to a building which have antennas on the roof, no more than 10 feet away.

It's light brown color like sand, and it really looks like the Washington monument in DC.

.. I wonder if other carriers can go on ( IN !! ) these poles with their panels, as with other tower & monopole sites, or if they are "single carrier only" type structures.....
