I'll be visiting NYC on October and already have a sim-free phone - which prepaid sim I can buy? I prefer with free incoming calls.

Thanks in Advance

In the US, you will be using either the T-Mobile or Cingular GSM networks for service. Both have pre pay SIM cards. I would also google under 'USA prepaid SIMs' and you will come up with 3rd party providers (ie like Pharos) that combine both networks. As far as I can tell, none offer free incoming calls...this is normal in the US compared with other countries. However, with Cingular, for example, you will be able to call to /receive call from other Cingular users for free, nationwide.

Besides the 3rd party providers, go to www.cingular.com and www.tmobile.com and look for prepaid services, Go phone ,and so on.

In the us, it is best to have a phone with 850 (not 900) and 1900 Mhz band for Cingular, and 1900 only for Tmobile.

Thanks a lot, I'll look for 3rd party providers.
