I don't know if it is their worst ever, but the worst Nokia phone I ever used was the 6820.

I think the 2610 is probably one of the worst designed. It's a good-looking handset. Unfortunately they made a big mistake when they used that "mirror" display that you could really only see in a dark room. Nokia has also made other missteps with other "design" elements. For a while there Nokia was going crazy with absolutely werd-åss keypad designs with reverse circular keypads (3650), two numbers on one key (3595) and others of that era. I believe people don't want weird designs they want traditional 3 X 4 key layout.

Yes, and Nokia called it a "fashion" phone... Um, a fashion disaster maybe?

Someone at Nokia was drinking a lot of laced Kool-Aid the day they came up with that phone.

The 3595 kinda sucked as well as the TDMA version that looked just like it.

The 6010 face place and key pad fit on the 3595 and makes it more manageable.

I have a 4 year old 6010 great phone and still kicking.

I have a 2660 and IMO its crap, the charger port is on the top of the phone and has a stupid rubber cover the speaker in the phone is garbage and the Symbian on it locks up all the time.

I am pro Nokia but super disapointed in the 2660.

I wish Nokia would get off there Finnish ARSES and make a decent smart phone. I wasnt impressed with their last attempt.

They might be doing just that with the new E71 smartphone coming out. It looks better than the E61i/E62 of two years ago. Maybe this time it will function better too.

I only used the basic Nokias: 5190, 6010, and 6030b. Each phone was good in its own right. I wasn't fond of the 3650 (?) that had the big screen and the circular dial pad...

the E62 was a friggin piece of junk. i had one and before i stopped using it the damn thing would take almost 5 minutes to send a text. it was one of the slowest phones ever.

Some of the Symbian phones have alittle OS LAG

MY S60 Nokia 6682 lags alittle bit but still works good.

My newer symian os 6085 only lags alittle on apps like calculator and calander

We're not talking about Nokia as a company, but some of their phones, specifically a few that one wonders what they were thinking when they made them.

Personally, I really like Nokia phones. I own 6 of them...

Ive been pro-nokia most of my time since ive been working in this industry. I have tested alot of devices and Nokia far surpases most in the performance and reliability. My only complaint is they no longer put Field Test on their phones and it either requires hacking the phone with new eepromm flashes or using a Symbian phone and adding a a 3rd party app. I have the Field Test app running on my 6682 and its a sweet program but if you want to make a call you have to exit the program, so you cant see the signalling from the tower when your doing this.

My primary Nokia test mode phone crapped out on me, so im stuck with my Blackberry which is a great email data device but is a crappy phone.

My very first cell phone (with PacTel Cellular/AirTouch - the forerunners to Verizon in L.A.) was a Nokia, as was my second. Both of which were the only two phones I had for a combined 5 years (1994-1999).

I lost interest in Nokia bar phones, but got very interested again when the 6101/6102/6103 series was introduced. I've always preferred flip phones, and the 610x series phones have been excellent (they're over 3 years old and still available - 6102i and 6103 to be exact). Top notch signal strength, battery life, and decent functionality for the price brought me back. Though I've never.

It is my opinion that Nokia phones are the most solid overall phones out there. They have a phone for every need, from basic to ultra-complicated. Though not everything they make is a winner, at least their phones are more dependable and solid than Samsung (in my experience anyway).

right, agreee with you at this there are a coouple of phones thrown by nokia which even i didnt get it. anyhoo i beat you at this, i got around 9 of nokia phones!!

I don't like the general design of Nokia's the last few years. I really liked their designs in the late 90's and early 00's, but lately they seem to fall flat. They do come up with some really weird-a*s stuff sometimes, but I guess being experimental is part of their gig.

On the flip side, I think SonyEricsson has finally been putting out consistantly better designs, and now like them better than Nokia for the first time ever. And thats a big step in the Finnish / Swedish rivalry (...maybe the Japanese gave them the kick-start they needed )
