Well i thought it would be clever to put a security keylock on my Nokia 5610. So last night i put it on, but thought it would be better to change the code from the default 12345 code to something different The problem is, i forgot the New code. Does anyone know how to fix my problem or have the master security reset code? Thanks Mikey x |

You could try using Nemesis Service Suite to perform a master reset (the phone option will not work as you need to know the security code). Make sure you back up everything important.

Do you reckon you could link me to these programs or whatever?? And i cant back up anything on the phone memory as i cant access the phone Also i went to some Nokia shop today and they were gonna charge me 25GBP to reset it. So anything cheaper than that i would pay.

I have no personal experience with NSS — only JAF. But now I realize that the phone will want to prompt you for the mode of operation when you plug in the cable and without the code you may not be able to reset it in a non-destructive manner. Again, with JAF you can use a special box & cable to read the code, but with all that hardware you're looking at a lot more than £25 — I doubt it's worth it. The JAF + P-Key, then you'll need the cable, so it all adds up very quickly.
