| No, it does not it actually means it's not been crippled by any carrier and can be used on any GSM carrier (save a couple of prepaid ones) in the US. The two national ones are AT&T and T-Mobile, plus there are a few local ones.

being in LA id say ATT is gonna be your best bet with a N80. espically if you already have your equipment, ATT will let you get a normal plan without a contract |
