nokia 6102b problems.

Hello. I came accross this forum while looking for a solution to my recent problem, and people here seem to be pretty knowledgable when it comes to cell phones . I have a Nokia 6102b and after about 8 months of usage, it just won't turn on completely anymore. I turn it on, all the lights show, but it becomes stuck at the blank white screen that usually shows up for about 2 seconds when powered on. It's weird because when I fold it, the smaller exterior screen will actually display 'Cingular', shows service, battery life, the bold 'G', and the time etc. Yet, when I try calling the number, it will go straight to voice mail as if it was turned off. I've tried removing the battery and sim card both several times, but can't seem to get it to work. If anybody has had this problem before or can provide any insight at all it would be greatly appreciated.
