|  nokia car kit question
My mother just bought a Nokia 6340 and she wants to have the car kit installed. Does anyone know anything about these?? Especially for the Nokia?? Is the external antennae something she would definately need or is the phone atennae fine? Thanks for any help!

You’ll have to get an external antenna. They are only like $30-$40. I dont know anything about the 6340. Sorry.

You can use the Nokia car kit with OR without an external antenna.

I don't think so. A coworker has a CARK-91 US with no external antenna. The nokia website says that "The car kit allows for the connection of an external antenna." Not that it is required. [cite Maybe he has a different model than you are thinking about. If you have more info, I'd like to see it. |
