I just recently purchased a Nokia 3395. I used to own a 5190, which was a decent, if limited, phone. However, the 5190 did provide me with the ability to change startup and operator logos using Logo Manager. I had to purchase a new data cable for the 3395, and it works. However, for the life of me, I cannot change any of the logos. I've been looking all over the internet to figure out how to do this, and it's led me to the subject of restoring the factory settings. I go there, and I am being prompted for a security code. I have no idea where to look for this. I'm avoiding, as much as possible, having to purchase an unlocker (more $). The Nokia Tech Support Jaggoffs are no help, either. Great people. They tell me that the phone is not data capable, and here I am manipulating it on a limited basis using a data cable. Anyone with any ideas? Michael Lopez. |
