Has this been a common problem with this model #?

I did not switch to Alltel. They switched to me!

And I do not use Nokia anymore!

I have the same phone and I havent had this happen at all. When is this happening? Is there something that you are doing when it happens?

No, the phone just quit ringing. When I recieve a call, it will only vibrate. No sound.

Try going back into the profiles settings and set it back to a normal profile or a loud profile and see if that maybe is the problem. This is basic I dont know if you have already tried it. Also you can go in and reset the factory settings. If it asks for a pass code it should be 12345.

I tried all of that. It still does not work. I took the phone back to Cellular One. They will send in for repair.

This is a common problem with this model. Also very common with 3585s. I work for MetroPCS and we send back 10-20 per week with this problem.

Default 3585i - Ringer stopped working

At Us cellular we have that problem and found if you just do a master reset in the phone settings it 99% of the time fixs this problem. Note this will not reset your phone book just your phone settings IE: Ring tones, Display contrast etc...
