Default 6100 on T-Mo in SW Ohio?

Just activated my new 6100 with T-Mobile and live about 20 miles North of Cincinnati. Travelling around service seems fair, but in my home its rather terrible. I've got to believe its the carrier rather than the phone...but would like to get some input....anyone care to comment?

Also, am planning to move to Cleveland or Columbus this year and hear that T-Mobile GSM coverage is very good in those areas....true?

BTW - THE PHONE IS PRETTY SWEET!

hey wow, its great to finally find another american on the net with both the nokia 6100 and tmobile.

i live in a different state to you, but i can almost guarantee you that it's your service provider! i had a nokia 3390 on tmobile before i got my 6100 a few days ago, and it was the exact situation inside my house (well any building really)- zero service. unfortunately this is the case with most of america and GSM/GPRS networks. since it's a new technology over here, we need time to catch up to europe and the rest of the world. triump is right the gsm/gprs 1900 service tends to be a little stringent when it comes to indoor operations. Eventually they will catch up its just a waiting game.
