New Nextel Tower?????

I am told that Nextel is in the process of putting an array up on the WXCC tower here in Williamson, WV.

Is there anyone on the forum that can confirm this for me? There are antennas physically on the tower about half way up, but no signal on my work phone.

Other carriers that didn't have signal there in Williamson such as AT&T,Sprint, & Alltel still do not have signal, so this kinda raises suspicions of this being a nextel buildout.

Sometimes it can take a few weeks or months for the signal to go live even when panels have been present. Might have to wait it out for a while and see what happens.

On a major build out it can take much longer. When Nextel did a 120 mile stretch in my area, a couple of the sites were up over a year before they were turned on.
