I work for the a fire department and when we get a call an email is the station groupwise inbox. I am trying to forward this email to member phones via text message. I am using the xxx-xxx-xxxx@messaging.nextel.com method. All other service providers work fine. With nextel a text message goes to the phone, but it says," content was removed because your handset cannot display it." Any thoughts?

Does the other party get the message or nothing at all? Nextel is a pain with SMS and that's why our county dispatch went to the Buzz so the texts are sent thru the Sprint CDMA side & not the iDen side.

you would need to make sure that its just text cuz emails these days come in rich text format that most phones cant process

Correct make sure the e-mail going out ot the handsets is in plain text nothing fancy this should correct the problem
