Default direct connect with headset

Is it currently possible to peform nextel direct connect while using bluetooth headset?

Yes you can, but you still have to use the PTT button on the phone, and there will be a slight delay.

I wasn't aware of the fact you could, thanks for the info. I guess if you still have to use the button it's kind of a moot point on having this ability, but can be helpful.

Yep, it depends on the type of the headset, seems to work ok with the blackberry, sometimes with an i870 you can hear the last "blip" of the nextel chirp from the other person when they call you if they are using one.

Yea with my blackberry and headset combination I had to use the button on the phone. Annoying but it does work.

From what I have been told you can, push the button and talk, the audio comes through the headset.

I can use D/C with my bluetooth with no problem, and no delay either.
