I think there is international walkie talkie, i remember reading that somewhere but i can't remember where lol. Maybe it was in the Nextel store.

If there is, maybe I will have my dad in Massachusetts get me an i870 and send it over to me so I can walkie-talkie all of them on the Nextel network here in Brasil, that would be awesome.

PS: Did you know that they still have the old Nextel logo, maroon with the stripes through the TEL. Sad, kinda... and I wonder if Sprint will have anything to do with them.

Lol, don't be cheap! You just said you wanted the i870! See i knew you were just pulling my leg. lol. Though the i870 is a really nice phone i am perfectly happy with my i860.

I did have to go and compare the 2 though..lol..the i860 is still a little smaller than the i870 though which i like and besides i don't have an extra $450 laying around just to go and buy the next "new" thing. hehe

I've felt it. lol That sounds so bad! lol. It's a nice phone but for some reason i can't get over the fact that it felt so plasticy. I don't know why but the one thing that i loved about the i860 is that it felt solid. To me anyway.

The camera is supposed to be better on it too but i've not tried it for myself.

i just got the 870 and it's a super good phone.
i had the i830 before this, so getting the 870, as you can imagine, is a major improvement!

pros:
-huge screen
-great, crisp speaker
-awesome camera w/flash
-mp3 player is very easy to use

-great, crisp speaker
-awesome camera w/spotlight
-mp3 player is very easy to use
-included accessories are great
-front lcd screen is awesome

cons:
-mp3's can't be used as ring tones
-can't have a wallpaper picture on front lcd screen

other than that, the phone is just a bit bulky, but it shouldn't bother anyone much unless you like razr thin phones. i love this phone though, it's worth the money!

The i870 has the best look and feel of any iDen phone I've used. I've only listened to MP3s through the speaker, and they don't sound bad. I'm sure you get better sounds through a stereo headset, though.

This is the best phone I have ever owned and I've had wireless service since 1996 (with over 20 different phones)! Love the MP3 player and my Moto H500 bluetooth headset works flawlessly with it.
