Who would pay $1,500 for a phone they could get for a couple hundred in 6-12 months? That's crazy-talk.

Tempting, but I think I'll spend $1500 on something else.

I never liked wireless imports. They are a huge ripoff.

About a year back I inquired how much it would cost for a Motorola data cable for my MS200. They told me $300.00 which includes the software. I told them that the software was free on the Moto Korea site but they said that I would have to know Korean and they had an English version. Told them I didn't need the software but then they came back and said that the cable and software was a bundle.

$500 would be the max that I'd pay for a CDMA Razr. I wouldn't feel bad. I just looked up retail in Korea for the MS500 (Razr) and it's $360-$490 with service.

I agree, or any phone for that matter, and even that is going a bit off my limit....

Given how popular the GSM RAZR is here, I wonder why the US CDMA providers don't sell this phone here.... anyone know how these decisions get made? After all, if it is available in Korea, it shouldn't take too much retweaking to get it functional here, I would think.

No problem.

I don't know if the specs have been released yet. I just tried to search on Google and I couldn't find any.

WI has a supposed prototype for VZW so these specs should be what we can all expect:

3.35 oz (95g)
Dimensions 98mm x 53mm x 14mm
Display Internal: 262,000 Color Display
External: 65,000 Color Display
Bluetooth
Verizon Branded
Speakerphone
New CDMA RAZR has a upgrade from the GSM model 4,096 Color Display to a 65,000 Color Display
Chemically etched keypad created from a single sheet of nickel-plated copper alloy
Video Playback
1.3 Megapixel Camera
40 MB internal memory
Transflash Memory
MP3 Player
Note: Since this is a prototype model, it will have VCast and Get it Now software installed on the handset, however since the ESN is not loaded into Verizons database neighter feature will be operational.
