I got a friend who bought the Alltel software and the cable to hook her computer up to the Internet through the V3C as a modem. Now let me describe what is going on. I'm a complete newb and can't figure out how to make it work.

1) Install the drivers per the Alltel CD. (Shows up in Device Manager under USB devices as a Motorola thingy)
2) Install Quicklink.
3) Quicklink doesn't detect the phone but looks on the COMM ports 1-3 and not USB.

What am I missing? Are there any tips or suggesteions or thoughts for me to try? I'm pretty tech savvy so please don't hesitate to suggest something that is "hard". And I don't have any close access to her phone and computer and her time to check things out is limited, so keep that in mind.
