Default Razr music problem! MAJOR problem!

Ok so i just got my new Verizon Razr a couple days ago and started putting music on it. It all went fine. I unplugged it from the computer to listen for awhile. Then remembered i had some more songs i wanted to put on. I plug it in and start syncing those song.

I leave the room and come back to see my phone's screen black with the verizon wireless logo like it just restarted itself. All of the unsynced songs (on my sync list on the computer) say "Stopped"

I unplug it and go to Manage Music and go to Artists. It has all of the artist info but when i go to songs there is NOTHING!

by this point i'm freaking out! i quickly shut off my phone and restart it thinking it could be just a little glitch.

NOW! I CAN'T EVEN ACCESS MY MUSIC WITHOUT IT FREEZING THEN RESTARTING!

I plug it into the computer and it recognizes it and says i have like 18 MB left of storage even thought i have a 1 GB Micro SD/Trans Flash in my phone!

i unplug it and every time i hook it up to my computer it'll charge but it won't recognize my phone on WMP because i can't acces My Music without my phone restarting!

PLEASE help me! My phone! is in your hands!

Default Re: Razr music problem! MAJOR problem!

Format your card, it happened to me.

Try opening your music player and select switch storage device, and if you can access your phones memory but not the micro sd; formatting should fix it.

Are you using a Mac? I had been using my iBook to transfer to my phone and mp3 player, however mac's file system creates a "._ds"(or similar) file for each file that contains extended info. When the player accesses these files it crashes, however they are invisible unless you unhide hidden files on a PC and delete them. Also there are programs for mac to delete them before ejecting the memory, which is what I do now.

Hope this helps.
Mike

Edit: My phone is an Alltel V3M (I hate the Razr)
