Ok, I wanted this phone so I cancelled my T-Mobile and put away my hot pink Razr just to sign up with Sprint so I could get the red phone. Total poser, I know. I hate this phone. I haven't even had a chance to use it yet, and I've yet been able to connect to Sprint's website to get ringers and whatnot. I hate where the menu stuff is, I hate where the soft keys are set (contacts and music), but I especially hate the outside display window. Now, I do want to love this phone because I love red, but because I can't get help from Sprint because it takes over 24 hours to "put me in the system," nor can I get tech assistance from Motorola on this phone because they just want to sell me another one. So I beg you all for help. I want to love this phone!! So, two questions, please: 1) Is there any way to make the time display on the closed phone (front display) any smaller? The time takes up like all of my screen, which my hot pink one did not, and if I can make it smaller I would be so happy. I like wallpapers and with the time so big, it's a moot point to have wallpaper. 2) Is there a way to change the default soft keys to something else besides contacts and music? I appreciate any help or remarks. I love the Razr phones, but this red one is driving me nuts. Thank you |

1. Its probably NOT possible to change the size of the time on the front LCD. This isnt a typical option on most phones, but since I dont have the v3 from sprint, I couldnt say for sure. 2. The home keys, if they are changeable, it would be in your settings menu. Look for something like settings -> personalize -> home keys . Or something like that. Again, I dont have this phone, but if its possible, it would be something like that Id imagine.

Pathetic, huh? The red one is going back. What a pain in the butt with Sprint for five days. I got the pink one unlocked and I'll use that when I move. Sheesh. And the thing is, it doesn't even look that much different or do anything much different. Waste of money if a Razr is already owned. |

They are not the same phone. The pink one from T-Mobile is a V3. The red one from Sprint is a V3m. They are not the same. You cannot do the same mods to them.

I didn't say they were the same, just that they weren't much different. I have an iPod, so I don't need the music capability. Camera is better, but I hardly use it anyway. I'd like to have a (red) phone, but it was more trouble than it was worth. I'll stick to my dinky V3 phone. I don't need anything else. Sprint can keep their V3m. |

| www.myworldphone.com has a red unlocked V3 for GSM on their site now. Bad timing for you though.

As I am a thinking person, I am thinking you need to just cover your hot pink phone with the Lipstick Red skin that is available. For 9.95 your problems are solved. Available at the Verizonwireless.com store.
