Default Reject call with phone closed?

Anybody know of a way to reject a phone call with the phone lid still closed?
I know:
a) I can press the volume down key to turn off ringing, but the caller must still listen to a few more rings before going to voicemail.
b) I can set "Open to answer" off and open the phone, hit reject to send caller immediately to voicemail.

But I'd like to be able to send a caller immediately to voicemail without opening the phone? Anyone?

Oh, this is on a v3m with the verizon firmware.
TIA

As you already said you can silence the ringer with the flip closed, but you can't reject the call without opening it unless you re map your keys. The most common key to remap is to change the voice key to either end or right soft, but you loose the voice dialing capability.

Jay, thanks to Verizons UI, they dont let you program/remap the keys. Its crazy, the only one u can customize on the v3m, and I believe the v3c as well, is the down key. It takes a flash to Alltel to be able to program the home keys

So in this guys instance, it appears he would only be able to reject the call by opening the flip.

I'm not talking about the home keys. To remap the keys as I am describing you need to hack the phone anyway. I think MotoKit will let you map any key, but I don't know if it works with CDMA models.
