Default Motorola Phone Tools Question

Is the MPT software different for older phones vs. RAZR, ROKR, etc?

This URL (http://tinyurl.com/pqv5r) seems to indicate that there is an "original" version and one for V3/v3c/v3x. However, the Hellomoto site only has 1 download for MPT and does not distinguish between phone models.

We have a V600, a V557 and soon, a RAZR. Do we need two separate versions?

The most recent version should work for all your phones.

No Mobile phone tools should work on all, P2K commander on the other hand will too, but with some minor change. Under options change the directory it points to on the phone. Had to do that when I had the V557. If not you will see a directory for sounds, wallpapers etc, but you cannot do anything with those folders. Believe if you re-point it to c will open up a different set of folders that also say Pictures, Sounds, Skins etc. Those you can add stuff into. Got to admit getting a little rusty on this stuff, now that I have no more moto phones to play with.
