I have read the threads on the v60i battery issues and am wondering whether what I am experiencing is related, and if so whether a fix has been worked out: I bought the phone on Monday and charged it for about 2 hours till it indicated "fully charged" that afternoon. Charging was completed at about 6pm Monday. I left the phone on all night long, talked on it for maybe 15 minutes between 6pm Monday and about 6 pm Tuesday when I noticed that the battery indicator was then down to 2 bars instead of 3. I did not use it after that, and turned it off when I went to bed at about 11pm Tuesday night, turned it back on Wednesday morning and after about 2 hours or so of it idling Wednesday morning, I noticed it went down to 1 bar. I turned the phone off and then back on again, and it came back up to 3 bars where it stayed for about the next 6 hours or so ( talked for maybe 15 minutes during those 6 hours) before it returned to 2 bars. Are these the kind of experiences people have been having when they talk about battery indicator issues on this phone? I never did fully discharge and charge the battery. Might doing so help? Are the issues only related to the battery indicator on the front of the phone (is the menu battery indicator ok?)? Is there a software upgrade or fix for this issue? |

It is a fairly common problem with the phone. Mine did it once a few weeks back, but have not had any more trouble with it since. I am not sure if there is a fix for it yet.

That problem sounds typical. I think it gets better as you use the phone and cycle the battery a few times.
