I see that the v60i is no longer on Verizon's website. Is it still available? Anyone know if it's worthwhile to buy the v60i or should one wait for the v60x?

If a phone is not available on Verizon's website, it usually means it is out of stock. The V60i is still available online in the LA market, so its hardly plausible to expect the debut of the V60x right now. You can still visit any authorized dealers or retail stores; they should have the phone in stock. As far as waiting for the V60x, its up to you. If you think waiting for a phone with 1XRTT, Get It Now, GPS, a higher price tag, etc is worth it, then the V60x is for you. If not, the V60i is an excellent choice. |

I bought a V60i from a Verizon store here in Los Angeles today. I went back to it after using the Audiovox CDM9500 for a month and a half. I still think the V60i is the best Verizon offers (unless you want a cell phone with all the bells and whistles. Fact is, the V60i does what it is supposed to do very well.

the V60i is still available online in the philadelphia market and much of the east coast... the V60x will be released soon, but go for something like the samsungs or the LG phones, LG phones are nice, sleek and reliable from what i have heard from many people who own them.

From my experience, LG's are about as reliable as meteorologists. And they tend to go into "No Service" if you drive more than 40mph.

Sorry to stay off topic Have you had many returns on the 4400 Ceno? I realize it has not been for sale all that long, but I am just curious, as I was treated like I was an idiot for returning mine.

I don't work in sales, so I don't know how many have been returned. I haven't heard anything specific to that model. One of the guys I work with has it though, and he's not too fond of it.
