I just got my V60i w/ Verizon. I can not get the * and 4. The other threads are confusing with all the people posting songs. And it seems like the people that are helping have versions other than the CDMA version of the V60i. I hope that I can get some help, and keep this thread as song free as possible for all.

yeah but the link you put is for the t720, not the v60i. the coding workshop ringtone convert doesn't work with the v60i. looks like nobody knows how to do it, i did a search on howard, here and google, Nobody knows. |

I tried as well to put a ringtone or two in my new Verizon CDMA v60i when I first got the thing, and it does have a different composer than the composer in my wife's v120e(blue backlight version). Her v120e seems to have what sounds like the same (newer?)composer as the one in the TDMA v60i's from AT&T and others. My v60i software is current however, it's just an older composer or something in the Verizon v60i's software than other v60i's with other carriers, which means no 4 and no *. It is possible to look at the other type of ringtone that does have the * and 4, etc, and just enter it in to the Verizon v60i's just fine, entering things differently however. It will sound right, little slow. Just figure out the differences in entering and convert on the fly. I did one that way and it worked fine. I don't care about entering any more ringtones in the least but at least it is possible, no matter which format of motorola composer you have. Hope this helps.

I have converted a lot of tones for the v60i on the CW converter, it works fine. What version do you have?
