but I can't find anything about it anywhere else. It is not mentioned in Motorola's web page.
I searched for it here (admittedly the search function on this forum is rather primitive).

I am also confused about whether the T720c is different from the T720 in features or it is just the CDMA version.

Do I get a POP client either way?

How well does this POP client work? Any reviews?

I found a website yesterday from a post that was the homepage for the company that developed the POP mail reader for the T720. What is interesting is that the VZW T720's do NOT have the built-in POP firmware and (surprise) you have to download the mail reader from Get It Now. It is a good program, but you have to pay for it. I believe that the OTHER T720 users DO have a built-in POP mail reader (T-Mobile is the one I think I saw that had this for sure).

Cingulars version has it, but no instructions for setting it up. I still haven't got it working yet. MOTO owners manuals are TERRIBLE!!!!!
