Software / cable to upload ringtones? (v60i)

I recently purchased a v60i. I've seen the Motorola "TrueSync" software/cable kit that allows you to "Access your data, the Internet and e-mail on the go via your compatible Motorola phone."

But, I've also seen aftermarket USB cables for the v60/v120 series advertised as "Change music/ring tone/logo & more to your Motorola phone through this data cable. Software not included."

Thus far I have been unable to locate any software that claims to transfer logos, ringtones, etc to/from the v60 or v120 series. Are the companies selling the cables just lying, or am I missing something? Is the motorola truesync software kit the only software available to the v60/v120 user?
