Default Oh no, another missed call!!!

I have had trouble recently with people telling me they have called and I didn't answer. The reason I didn't answer is that the phone didn't ring. I have a T720 with Verizon. I am in a digital area and had my phone on and in my shirt pocket. Has anyone received this complaint from callers? Have you determined if it's the phone or the service? This phone is cute, but if I can only receive SOME of the calls, then it's a poor communication device. Sure could use your help on this one.

TIA

Could be either. Call a CC rep (611 from your phone, free call) and tell them exactly what you told us. I've heard of many problems with the T720 with VZW, so that's not entirely beyond belief.

I have a V60i and my wife has a V120c. We both have had this problem. I would say that it has happened to her about 4 or 5 times since we started our service in August. It has happened to me a couple of times. I too made sure that I had a digital signal and full signal strength. I also had this problem when I was with Sprint, so I think it is just part of having a cell phone?

I'm sure you've heard the message "All circuits are busy. Please try again later." as a Sprint user.

Default Oh no, another missed call!!!

I have a T720 from Verizon and my brother has a 120e with Verizon and we're both experiencing this problem when we're at home. We just picked up these phones about 12 days ago and this happens just about every other day. We'll try calling each others phones from our house line or with our cells and they just will not ring. The problem persists throughout the day as long as we're at our house, but it'll work just fine when we're out somewhere else. It's weird because we'll get a bout 3-5 bars digital from our house. We've tried calling Verizon about this and what they do is try to reprogram the phone. When they do this, my brothers 120e will start to ring again, but the problem persists with my T720. They also put in a trouble ticket in my area. BTW, I'm in the nyc area.

I've tried exchanging my phone and that didn't help either. So I believe it has to be the service. I recommend you give Verizon a call to report this and maybe they'll be able to help you better.

I have the same problem with my Motorazr V3m on Verizon. Although I know that it doesn't go straight to voicemail because I have been sitting there with the phone in my hand while it is on vibrate... watching it... and it light up saying incoming call. However, it did NOT vibrate and I answered it. Several minutes later... again I received a call in which the phone did NOT vibrate and then once it became a missed call it started to vibrate.

My wife and I have the same phones. We both have experienced this... I have been asleep on the couch and my wife call me from the other room and it did not notify me of a call, a missed call or other. I have also sent text messages that are received anywhere from an hour to 3 days later. On my wife's phone the message says that it was sent either at that time or later than it was sent... my phone says it was sent at an earlier time. I will meet my wife somewhere and she will say did you get my text message? and I'll say no.... and look at the phone. There won't be a message. I can be sitting with her and all of a sudden I will get the text 2 hours after she sent the text. They seem to do this regardless of the signal quality and service area we are in. I'm starting to lean towards it being the phone. My phone is very slow also... I push a button and it responds 4-5 seconds later.

Any ideas???

You already asked this question in a current thread. This thread is from 2002. I'm locking this thread. There is no need for 2 discussions on the same topic.
