My current V60t has 26.24.00_PHEONIX The first V60t I had.....(which I returned because I got it wet... ) had 28.08.00_PHEONIX The only difference that I have encountered is that the first V60t I had would let me start scrolling through my phonebook just by hitting the up/down key on the phone.......the one I have now will not do that, I have to actually select the phonebook first. This isn't a big deal to me at all......but if there are any more differences that I am unaware of I would like to know them. Thanks in advance to anyone who knows this. Sorry, no help here. My 60I can access the phonebook as you described with your first phone. **By the way, I am an ex-720 owner as well. The two weeks I had the thing (720) were terrible..... missed calls, dropped calls, callers would go into voicemail, and I would not get notification because I had no signal, also no signal in places I go everyday that always have signal -- once I could not get a signal, and noticed I was within 20 feet of a girl with a V60I, so I approached her, and she had 4 bars!!!! How do you tell what firmware version you have? |

Sorry, my bad.....Just checking mine out, and it looks like I have been hitting the down button at the same time as the "SmartKey". Gave me the impression I was opening the phone book with the navigation button.

That is interesting...... Like I said before, my first V60t with S/W version: 28.08.00_PHEONIX would let me access my phone book by just hitting the navigation key......and I just noticed 1 more thing...... The ringtones sound slightly different. By that I mean if I get a keypress code off of a site somewhere and enter the same song into the different phones they translate a little differently. I discovered this by just entering in a ringtone that I had on my first V60t......it worked just fine, but the tone and tempo were a little different. |

My version displays as S/W Version: 16.0E.00 H/W Version V60t 8.0 Flex Version: TS3ATT01PHX0NA_B005-08 My S/W version appears to be in "hex" since it is alpha. Does anyone know how many versions "off" this might be from current? Also, forgive the noob question, but how to you upgrade the software/firmware? Thanks, BC | |
