FM RADIO HEADSET NOT COMPATIBLE W/ T720

I BOUGHT THE MOTOROLA FM RADIO HEADSET MODEL SYN8609 FOR MY T720 AND IT DOES NOT WORK ON THIS PHONE. VARIOUS SITES SUCH AS CINGULAR, Verizon, AND T-Mobile SELL THIS ACCESSORY FOR THE T-720. HOWEVER, I SPOKE TO A SERVICE TECHNICIAN AT CINGULAR AND HE SAID THAT THIS UNIT DOES NOT WORK ON THE T720 AND AT THIS TIME MOTOROLA DOES NOT HAVE A FM RADIO HEADSET AVAILABLE FOR THE T720. YOU CAN ALSO CHECK OUT MOTOROLA'S WEBSITE AND IT DOES NOT OFFER THE FM HEADSET AS AN ACCESSORY.

HAS ANYONE HAD ANY LUCK WITH GETTING THE SYN8609 TO WORK ON THEIR T720? PLEASE LET ME KNOW THANKS.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]

This is copied from the motorola website. The FM headset only works with the CDMA version. Or in other words, only with Verizon's model. However the MP3 player works with all.

The headset works fine with the T720i from T-Mobile.

I have a T720 with cingular and I got the stereo earbuds too and the FM feature doesn't work. I am a little disappointed with this phone.

It is harder to read, it is percieved as SHOUTING, and is basically plain old annoying.

...and the FM headset works on my Verizon T720.

1. The FM Radio feature on the T720 does not eat up anything like minutes does it??

2. The phone has a built in MP3 player?!?! How do we get songs on to there? The data cable i'm assuming.

No. It does not use airtime. Yes. Along with the MP3 accessorie comes a data cable included to download your music.
