v120e software versions

Ok, I've looked through the forums and can't seem to find anything about this so I will bring it up:

I got a v120e yesterday, and have noticed that the directions for using the composer in it's manual, don't match up with how the phone actually works. Turns out that the manual for the v120t matches the functionality of the phone. What I'm wondering is:

1.) does my phone have an older version of the software that hasn't been updated, or

2.) is it the other way around and the software I have is actually better that the one the manual depicts, and they just forgot to change the manual when they were upgrading and adding features.

My guess is that it is the second option, because you can do 16th notes, which I don't see any accounting for in the manual that I have.

Any thoughts are welcome, cold hard facts are preferred.

Oh yea, my software version is 8300_01.37.03

So anyone who actually knows about the software should be able to tell me how new that version is pretty easily.

Don't worry - you've got the new and updated v120e. They phased out the old green lighted ones in early-mid December. Those were still pretty good, but they improved the software (old 1.35.00, new 1.37.03) and put in a bright blue backlight. Strong signal, loud ringer, very good earpiece volume, excellent battery life. It's a great phone - I love mine - enjoy it...[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
