| Since my last post didn't go so well I will try it again. I know that we want to inform individuals who are logging on to WirelessAdvisor so ........................ Pros: 1.) A very VIVID color screen. When you open the phone the color is very bright and everything on it can be clearly seen. 2.) The phone has an excellent "feel" to it. When I hold it in my hand its got a very solid feel. In the past I have had phones that had a "toy-like" feeling to it, i.e. Ericcson T86i. 3.) The touchpad has superior tactile response. The buttons are just enough raised so you are sure when you have pressed and released a button. 4.) One of the beefs I have had with Motorolas in the past has been there menus. With the T720, I believe they have finally gotten it right. Although not as user-friendly as the Nokias, they are coming pretty close. 5.) Just about everything about the phone is customizable. You can change your menus, your colors, your buttons, almost everything. 6.) As with the V60 the front display screen is verrrry useful. CONS: 1.) The Polymorphic ringtones are not loud enough. There have been several times I have been in the car bumpin to the latest R. Kelly, and I cannot hear my phone. 2.) I know that I mentioned that the phone has a good feel to it, however it does "creak". 3.) On the V60, you could change your ring preferences from the left side button, however with this one you cannot. 4.) The maximum time your backlight stays on is 20 seconds when a button is not pressed. This gets kinda annoying. This in my opinion is one of the best cell phones I have every used. I am glad to be back using a Motorola again. I give this phone "TWO SNAPS WITH A TWIST!!" ONE! |

exactly. unlike Polymophic: the quality or state of being able to assume different forms: as a : existence of a species in several forms independent of the variations of sex b : the property of crystallizing in two or more forms with distinct structure Those would be some funky ringtones. |

Hey. Alright check it out, i just got a new v60i like 5 days ago. Now the phone is cool an all but it is lackin some tight features that id like to have (aka COLOR, WWW) and also all of the other cool features you guys talked about. But unfortunetly my contract with at&t(I have a TDMA network) doesnt break till next july. Second i bought this phone off the net and i dont know if i can just haul up into a phone store and trade in my v60i for the t720. And i also dont want to pay a $175 termination fee. So bottom line is the any way to switch the phone to GSM w/o breaking contract? Can i trade the phone in for t720 even though i bought it off the net? Alright Thnx guys peace out |

| Big EZ baby, you can switch from TDMA to GSM (its known as migration) on AT&T. You wouldn't be considered breaking your contract. As for your V60, you wont be able to take it to an "official" AT&T Wireless store, however if you take it to one of their Authorized Dealers, they usually will break you off some change for a trade-in. (You could probally get a little more on EBay). Arya, is that Polymorphic thing like what the Wonder Twins used to do when they touched their rings together with their poly-tight tights?? ..... "WONDER TWINS ACTIVATE" ONE! |

you can migrate to at&t's gsm w/o the cancelation fee, however they require you to sign another year contract. try just returning your v60i to the online store since it's only been 5 days.

well my advice is to buy the monthly insurance for your v60i if you already have it activated with at&t. keep it for a month or two. word on the forums is that the v60i is discontinued with verizon but im not too sure for at&t. well when the v60i is discontinued for at&t they obviously can't give you another v60i unless the v60x/e comes out!!!!! *sigh* (all this time waiting...sniff...it's almost making me feel like that time i believed in santa and later found out he wasn't real ) too bad at&t's not on the cdma network unless motorola will release a gsm version of it...anyhow but just ask to see if you can apply the credit to another phone (the t720) and pay the difference if more expensive.
