Default Free T720 Exchange --- Now or Wait???

I just got a postcard from Verizon.... "Stop by your nearest Verizon Wireless Communications Store today to exchange your Motorola T720 phone for an enhanced version and a free standard battery".

"Bring your T720 to any VZW store before January 15, 2003 and receive a new one at no charge. Your new phone will provide enhanced performance and ....." blah blah blah.

My phone has S/W 1.2.22.19D

Should I wait till the last minute to swap.... or "Do It Now"????

Default Free T720 Exchange --- Now or Wait???

HI-
Where do you live and how long have you had your phone? I live in Pittsburgh and just got my t720 on Sunday, I wonder if I will get a postcard too? Did you have to register your product or does Verizon keep track of the phones they sell?

Default Free T720 Exchange --- Now or Wait???

I got my phone in late Oct... I live in Michigan. I did not register the phone. The store that I bought it at must have collected the info.

Default Free T720 Exchange --- Now or Wait???

I am in the same situation. I have a T720 that works fine, but I got a card for a new one and a free battery. Since I have the newest S/W (.19D), I was just going to take the card to get the free battery. I have until Jan. 31st it says, and I'm wondering if I should wait till the last day. Is there a chance that they may release a new 720, possibly with a soft key or anything different. In other words, is there a chance itll be worth it to wait? Thanks for your help.

I'm going to wait for that new Sammy bad boy, so that I can trade my T720 in for that!
