I found a few places that have antennas for the GSM but nobody made one for our cdma phones yet? I'm sure there is a BIG market for it out there..... I don't need anything flashing and stuff just a shorter stub so I can put the phone in my pocket and not worry about the antenna snapping off or being jabbed in the leg by it........thanks!

I haven't found any and I'm definitely interested in looking into getting one.

Quoted from other thread: I've examined both antennas in person. I have a CDMA, my friend has GSM. They are dramatically different antennas, and neither is compatible with the other. I agree though, if I could put the stubby antenna on my phone, I'd be much happier (what kind of reverse penis envy syndrome is that.) But, with the T720 CDMA, I am glad that Motorola has finally stopped making phones that require antennas to be replaced every month. (between my StarTac, V60, and friends 120, I've bought over 12 antennas over the course of 3 years.) |

If you want your phone to be useful when in the 900mhz range you need a taller antenna, if you have the phone in nothing but 1900 or 1800 mhz PCS then you could do with the smaller antenna. There are people out there adding the small antenna and soldering something inside the phone but I personally would not take the chance with it frying my brain. Whatever is left of it...
