Well I'm going to delete my post since in the end that solution didn't work. From what I've read, the c331t uses a different music keypress format than most other Motorola phones, which is why the existing tones don't work. I would be interested to hear more information on this, and of course a solution... In the end I finally gave up searching and wrote my own to convert from Nokia RTTTF to the C331t keypress format.
